Watch: UGA great Stetson Bennett receives Aaron Rodgers signed jersey

Jun 14, 2023

The Los Angeles Rams made a surprising move when they selected former Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL draft.

Bennett joins fellow Bulldog Matthew Stafford in Los Angeles, where he will back up the former No. 1 pick.

Another NFL legend who is rooting for Bennett to succeed is Aaron Rodgers. In a heartwarming video released by Fanatics, NFL rookies received video messages and signed jerseys from their favorite NFL players.

The video featured former Georgia wide receiver AJ Green giving a shout out to an NFL rookie, and it also showed Bennett receiving a message and a signed jersey from Rodgers.

"Stetson, loved watching you at Georgia," Rodgers said in the video.

Though he’ll sit behind Stafford for at least a year, Bennett's odds of winning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, per FanDuel, are +15,000.
