CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte Knights fans may notice something a little different at Saturday's home game this evening.

For the latest breaking news, weather and traffic alerts, download the WCNC Charlotte mobile app.

Instead of wearing their normal jerseys, all Knights players will be sporting special jerseys designed by Alex, a 15-year-old patient at Levine Children's Hospital.

The jerseys will also be auctioned off in an online auction. All proceeds will go towards the Arts for Life program at Levine Children's Hospital. The program provides support to patients and their families through educational art programs, which help to mitigate patient stress and anxiety.

You can stream WCNC Charlotte on Roku and Amazon Fire TV, just download the free app.

The Charlotte Knights game against the Nashville Sounds begins at 7:04 p.m. and gates open at 6 p.m.

You can find the Knights jersey auction here.
